CHARLIE ZELENOFF VS. VITALI KLITSCHKO IN 2012???

Posted by Frank Stea on December 26, 2011 at 11:15 AM

It seems as if both Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko are doing a great job at avoiding the challenges of the great Charlie "King Z-Money" Zelenoff, just as much as they have been successfully defending their world heavyweight title championships against less than stellar competition.

-

5-time world champion and Current UBF junior middleweight and P4P champion Charlie Zelenoff has been calling out the top competition in every weight class, only to be declined by each and every so-called top fighter.  Zelenoff, who is a natural middleweight, recently put on some more weight to explore to deeper dvisions.  Most preferably the heavyweight division.  The Klitschko brothers have had control over the "money" divison for years now ripping through all challengers.  The only challenger they have yet to accept, is the most dangerous man on the planet, Charlie Zelenoff.

-

With a verified 5000lb PSI score, Zelenoff has been feared by many.  Wladimir Klitschko recently announced his plans for 2012 that include fights against Jean Marc Mormeck and Tony Thompson.  None of those plans seem to include a potential mega-fight with the universally recognized greatest fighter of all-time, Charlie Zelenoff.

-

With the obvious advoidance of Wladimir, Zelenoff has turned his attention to the eldest of the brothers, Vitali.  The destination is set for Belgrade in front of 40,000 fans.  The only problem is, will Vitali duck Charlie much like his younger brother did.  Only time will tell.

-

Zelenoff is scheduled to defend his titles in a tune-up defense on February 1st in the United States.  For more information, follow Charlie Zelenoff on Twitter @WorldChampionZ

K9 RETAINS ATG TITLE. RAMIREZ, CHAMBERS, & RHODES PICK UP WINS AT RD13

Posted by Frank Stea on December 22, 2011 at 10:20 AM

#1 ranked ATG Boxing Trivia Challenger Challenger and renowned trainer "Jazzy" Jeff Mayweather wants to be champion but first he has to handle business for one of the fighters he coaches.  Mayweather trains WBA Featherweight Champion Celestino Caballero, who is set to defend his title in Tokyo, Japan on New Years Eve.  Back in the states, he is the mandatory challenger for the ATG Trivia Challenge Champion and current IBF super welterweight champion Cornelius "K9" Bundrage.

-

The Rumble Down 13 went down without the highly anticipated rematch in where the undefeated Mayweather beat Bundrage in his debut matchup.  Since then both combatants went on epic winning streaks, with Bundrage eventually defeating Rufus Defibaugh at The Rumble Down 12 to capture the title.

-

Last night on ATG Radio, Bundrage selected his own opponent for his optional title defense.  Enter former world rated junior middleweight contender and Detroit native Marlon "Trouble Man" Thomas.

-

Bundrage competing in his 8th contest proved to be way too much for the debuting slugger out the Motor City.  Winning by a score of 4-1, K9 finished Thomas with 2 questions to go in regulation.  Both fighters expressed the utmost respect and admiration for each other and most importantly spreading the word of JESUS CHRIST.  With the uplifting post matchup comments, it makes K9 the hottest ticket on internet radio.

-

In the co-main event, Henry Ramirez defeated "IceMan" John Scully 4-3 in a battle of elite boxing trainers.  The action moved fast but all tied with just the final question for Ramirez, he answered correctly and left the show with bragging rights over the Ice Man.

-

In an anticipated rematch, Top heavyweight "Fast" Eddie Chambers defeated "The Second Coming" Kevin Newman II 3-2.  Their first matchup ended in a draw but Chambers made sure there would be no tie the second time around.

-

In an opening special attraction, Undefeated prospect Lydell Rhodes remained perfect in the ATG Trivia Challenge Series with an impressive 4-2 stoppage win over top welterweight contender "Showtime" Steve Upsher Chambers.  Chambers brought in style and confidence but Rhodes showed he is young but also a force to be reckoned with as he goes 2-0 with also answering 9 out of 9 questions correctly in that span.

CORNELIUS "K9" BUNDRAGE ADDS ANOTHER TITLE TO HIS COLLECTION

Posted by Frank Stea on December 8, 2011 at 12:30 PM

Last night on www.ATGRADIO.com, IBF super welterweight champion Cornelius "K9" Bundrage defeated "The Boxing Encyclopedia" Rufus Defibaugh to become the new ATG Trivia Challenge Champion at The Rumble Down 12 event.

-

Bundrage who had competed six times previously in the world's only competitive boxing trivia series and had compiled a record of 4-2, earned a title shot at one of the most knowledgeable boxing historians on the planet in Rufus Defibaugh.  Bundrage who brings hundreds of fans and supporters to listen to the show, just wouldn't be denied the title of Boxing Trivia Champion.  He came in the underdog and left the baddest "K9" in the yard.

-

Bundrage is currently one of the most avoided fighters in the world of professional boxing.  Even with the IBF 154lb title to bargain with, other champions and challengers are reluctant to to go into the kennel with the Dog from Detroit.

-

We congratulate Cornelius "K9" Bundrage on his recent victory and look forward to him defending his title against current number one contender "Jazzy" Jeff Mayweather.  Bundrage/Mayweather 2 is scheduled to be the main event at the Rumble Down 13 on December 21st live on www.ATGRADIO.com.

No News Is Good News!

Posted by Frank Stea on November 4, 2011 at 9:40 PM
Throughout the year 2011 I've been asked countless times about the lack of updates and exclusive news reports that hundreds and sometimes thousands of viewers grown accustomed to on this site. - The fact is the only reason I set up this site is because I am what Tim Kudgis also calls me a "sociopath". I honestly haven't been motivated to post any news or reports because the industry has left little for the imagination. Also, this was to be a team effort even under the official website of Frank Stea. (LMAO). - The band is getting back together along with new affiliations with other outlets and groups to conquer the mission of change for the betterment. - ATG Radio, along with the other programs on the network are scheduled to make a return to airwaves by the holiday season. - I do want to thank everyone who continues to support this site and as well as my conjunctions. Stay tuned because eventually I'll find my mojo. God Bless!

ALLAN GREEN REURNS TO FACE A 7-4-1 ARKANSAS FIGHTER

Posted by Frank Stea on August 12, 2011 at 2:05 AM

BULLSHIT. SHENANAGANS, AND RIDICULOUSNESS.  Allan Green is a fighter that has been considered in the past as one of the best fighters in the divisions he's fought in.  Now's he fighting a 7-4-1 from Arkansas in a tuneup in Oklahoma on Saturday.  BULLSHIT AGAIN!!!

-

Green could have fought a better fighter in a tuneup. No offense but 95% of Arkansas fighters have no business inside a boxing ring.. This part of boxing sucks ass.

-

Here's the press release.....

-

Allan Green returns Saturday

-

The undercard has been announced for this Saturday’s (August 13) boxing event at the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, Oklahoma, featuring the long-awaited professional boxing debut of legendary street brawler Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson.

-

The four-round heavyweight battle between Slice and Saint Charles, Missouri’s James Wade (0-1) will be supported by the return of former super middleweight contender Allan “Sweetness” Green (29-3, 20 KO’s) against Harrisburg, Arkansas’ Craig Gandy (7-4-1, 6 KOs) in a cruiserweight eight rounder.

STERLING PROMOTIONS PRESENTS NEW BOXING SERIES IN VEGAS

Posted by Frank Stea on August 8, 2011 at 11:05 AM

Press Release:

-

Sterling McPherson’s Sterling Promotions has plans to present a ten event professional boxing series at the Riviera Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The first show is scheduled for October 15 and future shows are slated for December 17, February 11, March 10, April 7, and May 26, with additional event dates in 2012 to be announced. The card will be televised on ESPN International with legendary boxing Hall of Fame broadcaster “Colonel” Bob Sheridan and former heavyweight champion James “Buster” Douglas calling the action from ringside. Fighters for the first scheduled show on October 15 will be announced shortly.

-

My Thoughts:

-

I have always enjoyed Sterling McPherson's events. I rank his events as the most entertaining boxing events in Las Vegas since I moved to the city in 2005. I met Mike Tyson through Sterling McPherson. It's something I wont ever forget.

As far as this serious goes, I just hope it pans out. The serious is slating to begin in October running through 2012. It is quite costly to have a boxing event to be held in Las Vegas. The only way I can this being successful, is if the local Las Vegas boxing fans check out these shows. I vouche for Sterling Promotions events and will make it mandatory for myself to attend every every event they put on. Stay tune for more info.

DAN HENDERSON BEATS FEDOR EMELIANENKO

Posted by Frank Stea on July 31, 2011 at 10:40 PM

I just saw the fight earlier today and my prediction was right. Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Dan Henderson defeated Fedor Emelianenko by TKO in round one. The fight took place in the heavyweight class.

-

Though I wanted and picked Henderson to win, I thought the referee Herb Dean made a premature stoppage. Im not saying Fedor would have won if Dean would have let it go, but it does hold some controversy in fights finish.

-

Fedor loses his third fight in a row and every lose was by stoppage. It leads some to believe that this might be the end. It doesnt matter to me at all, I was never much of a Fedor fan and honestly could care less if he fights or retires. He doesn't pay my bills.

-

Either way great event.

KEVIN NEWMAN II WINS AGAIN IN LAS VEGAS

Posted by Frank Stea on July 31, 2011 at 10:27 PM

Amateur boxing standout Kevin "The Second Coming" Newman II is one of the brightest amateur fighters training out of Las Vegas today. He has won championships and recently competed to qualify for the 2012 Olympic games in London. Unfortunately bad judging prevented him from defending his country in the games but it still hasnt tainted his ultimate goal of being a world boxing champion.

-

Last night in at the Silver Nugget Casino in the badlands of Las Vegas, Newman faced off against an opponent as tough and gritty as the neighborhood in which the fight took place. Sarkis Petcossian came all the way from southern California just to find out how good Newman is.

-

Newman was that good on Saturday night. Petcossian was an akward fighter and gave Newman some trouble in the second round, but that wasnt enough to prevent Newman from controlling the fight from bell to bell.

-

The third round saw Newman catching Petcossian with a thunderous shot the sent him flying to the canvas. The blind referee called it a slip and did not credit Newman for a knockdown. It didnt matter, Newman won easily on all scorecards.

-

Boxing celebrities in attendance watching Newmans fight were, Hasim Rahman, Zab Judah, Cornelius Boza Edwards, Richard Steele, and of coure ME..hahahaha lol!

-

What's next for Kevin Newman II??? Ask him yourself by following him on Twitter or Facebook.

ROSS MANDELL FOUND GUILTY BY JURY

Posted by Frank Stea on July 27, 2011 at 11:13 AM

I regret inform that a friend was found guilty of the crimes he was accused.  Ross Mandell, who was known as "Wall Streets Bad Boy", was convicted in a $140 million fraud case.

-

About one year ago, I became aquainted with Mandell through facebook which resulted with he and I hitting it off.  I welcomed him on the ATG Radio show as guest.  His story was an interesting one and at that time became the highest rated and most interactive show.  To this date, it remains one of the most popular and talked about shows in in 14-month history.

-

Now I do not know the facts or much of the particulars that went on during the case and with me saying Mandell is guilty, it's not on the facts of what may or may not have happened from what he was convicted of.  Let's face it though, for what is considered a serious profiled case, it was over very quick.  It leads me to believe there's some form of conspiracy or people aren't doing their jobs correctly.

-

Mandell is an energetic and charismatic person.  He has a lovely wife and two beautiful daughters.  Being a father myself, that is what made him wealthy in life, not his earnings from the stock market.

-

I couldn't imagine him doing the things he was accused of with so much on line he could have lost from the consequences.  Just from my conversations with Ross, he spoke on his innocence.  Knowing the ways of a hustler and being a fast talker myself, I didn't take what Ross told me as a sales pitch.  He had no reason to sell me anything.

-

The Jury may have found Ross Mandell guilty of crimes.  I find Ross Mandell guilty of being a great human being, husband, and father.  My thoughts are with him and his family.
